How It Works
The DR/CON/FM/230 uses an electromagnetic hold-open mechanism to retain a fire door in the open position. When connected to a fire alarm system, activation of the alarm or loss of power causes the electromagnet to release, allowing the door closer to shut the fire door automatically and help contain the spread of fire and smoke.
