About Adams Rite

Adams Rite has been a specialist in commercial door hardware for more than 100 years and is widely known as the “Aluminum Hardware Authority”. The brand has built a strong reputation around locking solutions for narrow-stile aluminium doors and other commercial openings, combining compact hardware design with mechanical and electromechanical security products.

Adams Rite is part of the ASSA ABLOY Group and designs and manufactures door hardware for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings. Its wider product heritage includes deadlocks, deadlatches, electric strikes, exit devices and electrified access-control hardware. The well-known MS® lock, introduced in 1955, became an industry-standard locking solution for narrow-stile aluminium doors and helped establish Adams Rite as a leading specialist in this area.

Adams Rite Electronic Locking Products

Our Adams Rite collection includes products for a range of access control and electronic locking applications, including:

• Adams Rite electric strikes with flat or radius faceplates, monitored options and fail-safe or fail-secure configurations
• Slimline electromagnetic locks for applications where a compact maglock is required
• Mortice maglocks for concealed electronic locking installations
• Surface and mortice shear magnets for high-holding-force locking applications
• Glass-door brackets and mounting accessories for compatible Adams Rite locking hardware

Adams Rite products are commonly specified where compact, professional locking hardware is required on aluminium, timber, steel or glass door arrangements. When selecting a lock or strike, check the door construction, frame profile, available mounting space, operating voltage, fail-safe or fail-secure requirement, monitoring requirement and compatibility with the existing door hardware.
