How It Works
The DR/CON/FM/24 uses an electromagnetic hold-open mechanism mounted at floor level to retain a fire door in the open position. When connected to a fire alarm system, activation of the alarm or loss of power causes the electromagnet to release, allowing the door closer to automatically close the fire door and help prevent the spread of fire and smoke.
