The Videx 8K1S/3111 is a complete one-way 3+1 audio intercom kit with a surface-mounted 8000 Series entrance panel and a 3111 handset. The handset adds a spare service button alongside the standard door-release control.

The single illuminated call button operates the handset electronic call tone. Once answered, the resident can speak with the visitor and release the connected door lock; the second handset button can be wired to a suitable auxiliary service where required.
