The Videx CVK8KS is a one-way, surface-mounted colour video intercom kit built around the Videx 8000 Series entrance panel. It provides two-way speech, visitor identification and door release through a colour videophone installed inside the property.

The system uses a six-wire balanced video connection, avoiding the need for coaxial cable. Additional compatible entrance panels and indoor stations can be added when the installation needs to serve more than one access point or provide extra monitoring positions.
