The Videx SP400+ combines a 12V DC 3A power supply and a seven-day time clock in a lockable metal cabinet. It is intended for access-control and door-entry installations that need a centrally housed DC supply together with programmed timed operation.

The built-in time clock provides automatic BST/GMT correction and six programmable on/off periods. The cabinet also has battery-backup provision and space for a 12V battery up to 7Ah; the battery is not supplied with the unit.
