The ACKIT-5S is a single-door proximity access-control package using a fail-secure electric strike rather than a magnetic lock. It is a useful choice where the door and frame are suitable for an electric release and proximity credentials are preferred.

Maglock or electric strike?

ACKIT-5S is the strike-based option in the range. A fail-secure strike behaves differently from a fail-safe magnetic lock, so the door hardware, means of escape and any fire-alarm interface must be assessed for the particular building before installation.
